Endless field of clouds Cloud designs are very popular and often combined with the various other patterns like geometrical designs. “Auspicious Clouds” is also called “Flowing Clouds”, and they are treated as a lucky design among the celestial phenomena patterns as in China. Interestingly, it is not popular in the Western culture to standardize a non-definite shape such as a “cloud” as a stylized design. In this “Auspicious Clouds” design, same pattern is divided between the existence or non existence of the external form, and is layout like a field of clouds. By replacing the difficult meaning of the “Auspicious Clouds” for the Westerners to the different stories, it transforms itself to an international story. There is a endless field of clouds viewing from the window of an aircraft … it is my challenge to transform the Japanese celebratory elements to the international romantic elements. | ||
